Help with unknown speakers and connections

Recently moved into a new home and there are ceiling speakers installed throughout the house. Each of those rooms also has a Bose wall plate with two 9-pin sockets.

I’d like to know what I’d need to get sound from a TV to those ceiling speakers (assuming the sockets are for said speakers).

Congratulations on your new home! I'm sure we'll be able to help you work out how best to use these speakers.

So we can identify exactly which speakers you have, and how best to use them with your TV, there will be a serial number on the back of the speakers. If you can put this serial number into our Product Identifier, it will let you know exactly which model of speakers they are. Please don't post the serial number directly to the Community as this would be against our Community Guidelines.
