Lifestyle 35 - problem with sound in another room

2 weeks ago we bought Samsung smart tv 2018. I have connected the audio through the optical cable to the bose media centre. The Tv is working properly and the sound is great, but when another person in another wants to listen to the radio while the TV is turned on, The speakers in another room are producing sound from 2 sources at the same time( TV as a source one, radio as source 2)

The previous TV was connected via analogue and that problem had not been occurring.

Can I ask you for your assistance?

Hi 40martin40,

thank you for your post and welcome the Bose Community!

I'm sorry to hear of the issues you are experiencing and I will do all I can to assist you!

In order to give you the most accurate information, I'll need to know a little more about your current set up.

Are you using BoseLink Multiroom?

How do you have this connected?

What other system are you connected to and what remote control are you using with it?

Let me know and I will do all I can for you!

Kindest,

Re: Lifestyle 35 - problem with sound in another room

Thank you for answer.

Everything is connected through bose link leading to 3 amplifiers ( one for one room)

no other systems are connected

the remotes we use in other rooms are Bose-Remote Control RC48S2-27 For Bose-Lifestyle

and in the main room we use normal lifestyle 35 remote

Fantastic! Thank you for this information, it is most helpful!

Are you experiencing any issues in your rooms other than the one you have described above?

I would recommend resetting your amps. Which amps do you have?

I look forward to hearing from you!

Kindest,

Re: Lifestyle 35 - problem with sound in another room

Thank you for your answer!

There is no other issue than this one.

The amps I have are amplifier bose sa 3.

How do I reset them? I have never done that before.

😄
