Lifestyle 600 - bass module stopped working

My bass module for Lifestyle 600 has stopped working. The power indicator is not lighting up. Tried changing the power cable, as well as used another power point.


Contacted my dealer and he mentioned mother board must be spoiled and has taken it for repairs.  He mentioned this is a known issue with the bass module.


10 months into the use of such a costly system and really astonished that how can the motherboard be blown away.


Has anybody faced similar issue and if yes - Bose support should really extend the warranty period as it might happen again in future.  We should be adequately covered for such known issues.
