Remote for solo TV sound system model 410376 not working

Hi how do I know a solo TV sound system has stopped working? I have changed battery on remote and the sound system is definity plugged in and connected to the TV. 

 

Is there a way some button some where?

 

I don't want to buy a new remote if the sound system is kaput!! 🙂

 

Bose product name - bose sound system model 410376

 

Country - uk

 

Firmware Version - don't know

 

App Version - no app

 

What devices were you using that were affected and what version are they on (e.g. Samsung Galaxy S9 on Android 11, iPhone X on iOS14, etc.)

Detailed description of the issue and steps to reproduce

 

What environment do you experience the issue in? (e.g. noisy office, quiet kitchen, etc.)

 

When did you start to experience the issue? Did it work correctly previously?

 

Any troubleshooting steps you took

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue with your Solo. I'll be happy to point you in the right direction! 

 

Thank you for trying the batteries, this is the first step in terms of troubleshooting this issue! However, as this is a power issue, there isn't anything else I can really suggest.

 

If you still get the lights on your remote, I would assume that your remote is working correctly. Therefore, I would recommend that you reach out to your local technical support team for a service as there may be a hardware issue. You can do this by clicking the LINK HERE, selecting your country, and scrolling down to 'Contact Us'. We will do all we can to assist you!

Hi 

Sorry for the delay in responding. There is no lights on the remote control. 

 

I will contact support to find out a way of checking to see if the unit is blown or just a dead remote
