Soundbar 700

Do u have to have WiFi to hook up the sound bar 700 to your tv

Thank you very much for your question, welcome to the community! 

 

In order to get the most out of your Soundbar 700 you will need to connect your speaker to a Wi-Fi network or via Ethernet cable you will also need a connection in order to finish the set up of your speaker alongside ensuring that your speaker is update to the latest firmware. 

 

For instruction on how to set up your Soundbar 700 please follow this link, and to connect your Soundbar 700 to your home Wi-Fi network for the first time please follow this link on instruction to do this.

I don't know if you do or not.  If you read the instructions or watch some You Tube videos you will see them using WIFI for setup.  If you don't have it, you could probably use your smart phone hotspot long enough to do the setup.  IDK.

You need wifi and the Music app to register and fully set up the soundbar with a TV and any other units eg DVD ,Sat receiver etc.Also to able to keep the firmware up to date
