Upgrading LS 48 DVD Series 1
Just need some advice regarding upgrading my LS 48DVD series 1 system.
I currently have the system "hard wired" in my lounge. I have a twin speaker cable to each corner of my lounge at ceiling level and a centre pair mounted to the underside of my TV. In additon, I have a second zone using the link cable from the headunit to power 2no SA3 amps & 4no 191 ceiling speakers in my kitchen.
I have just upgraded my TV to an LG OLED 65" 4K. I have sky Q with UHD facility and would like to pipe this through a bose system. I can do a work around with my system so that the sound goes to the LS48 via optical and the 4K goes directly to the TV via HDMI. The only thing with this option is that you sometimes have to set the TV up and select the correct settings etc... every time you turn it on.
I was looking at the LS 650, however, this won't retrofit onto my wiring. You have wireless surrounds and a 5 core cable to the centre channel. Also...I don't think I could run zone 2 from this either.
Any ideas welcome?
