Yamaha RX-V485 Receiver & Bose Acoustimass 10 Max Power consumption

Hi all,

I have the Yamaha RX-V485 Receiver with the Bose Acoustimass 10 system fixed and would need to have them hooked to a UPS system, since we have many power interruptions in Lebanon. Can anyone help in the max power consumed by both systems in order to select the UPS needed to support them when power is out? The time needed for power backup is not much really.. only few minutes until the power is back..

Thanks!

Elie

Hi ElieFK,

Thanks for writing in!

Can you confirm which model of the AM10s you currently have?  The original series did not have a powered bass module which would provide different specs.

Hello Elie,

The Acoustimass 10 Series II speakers do not have a powered bass module so all of the power draw will come from the A/V receiver. The system is rated for 10-200W per channel. Hope this helps!

No problem, Elie. That system is rated for 10-200 W per channel as well.
