Bose QC Earbuds - Double tap start/stop not working

What devices were you using that were affected and what version are they 
Google Pixel 5 with Android version 11

 

When did you start to experience the issue? Did it work correctly previously?

The double tap start/stop on right earbud have been working just fine. Now the double tap start/stop just stopped working. Only thing I did was remove them from the charging chase and put them in. Like I always do when I start to use them. The tap functions on the left earbud work just fine.

 

Any troubleshooting steps you took

I have tried to reset them, following the reset guide.

Tried to unpair them from the phone and pair them to another phone.

Found out the problem. 

 

The Bose Music app was not working correctly. 

 

Rebooted the phone and now everything works just fine 🙂
