The Bose Community Forum was launched at a time when robust online support was not available for Bose customers. Over the past several years we have added new online service channels that provide a more interactive and complete digital experience. Additionally, we have enhanced the My Bose Account capabilities to deliver a more personalized and self-service experience. As a result, Bose has made the decision to close Community Forum for Consumer electronics products on September 30th. The Bose Pro portion of the Community will still operate as usual.

Bose QuietComfort® Earbuds battery replacement

I'm planning to buy the new earbuds but was wondering if it is possible to replace the batteries when they lose capacity eventually. I know that this is possible with the big headphones but found nothing on the earbuds. And since these earbuds are quite expensive I don't want to throw them away after 2 years as you have to with e.g. the Apple Airpods...

 

Does anyone know?

I am so sorry you are having this issue. have you tried any troubleshooting steps at all? I am sure this would help. If you have yet to try any, let's start with the steps here.

 

Or you can reach out to your local customer support center and explore the service options for your headset, as they will also try troubleshooting before replacing. You can do this by clicking this link here, selecting your region, scrolling to the bottom of the page, and selecting contact us. If you are in the US or UK you can also reach out via Facebook or Twitter and one of our team can help you there. Or you can book in an exchange on the UK or US website by selecting the option under the 'Support Tab'.

The batteries in the headphones are not replaceable, but if you face any battery issues with your headset, we have great service options available to you.

Meaning, when batteries eventually wear out, and your warranty will no longer work we gladly sell you our newest version of earbuds that will of course as well die in two years. Sincerely yours, Bose. 

 

Guys, if you are making 280 $ worth product maybe you should make it at least a little repair friendly? Put a little effort.

Hi everyone,

I have the same question. I recently lost two Apple AirPods after three years for the same reason. These headphones were good, but I'm not going to repeat this investment. Is it possible to replace the battery in your earbuds at the end of its service life at your great service? 😉 Thank you

My batteries now only last 30 minutes, please can you explain the service options?
