Hi there! Just got a new pair of SoundSports, and so far I'm loving them.
The only thing I don't like so much is that the let in maybe a bit too much environmental sound.
After testing the pods I realize that the small hole right next to the rubber (not the big top one) is connected to the "ear canal".
So I decided to block it using some tape just for preliminary testing. I will probably be sealing these with proper neutral silicone glue like the Mannol9911. And I must say it does make a considerable difference.
Do you think there will be any unexpected secondary effect to doing this?
Thank you for taking the time to post and welcome to the Bose Community.
In regards to your question, I will mention that we do not recommend any tampering or use of glue on parts of the headset - this may in fact void the warranty. The design of the headphones would have been aimed towards a comfortable fit and the best possible listening experience for our users.
I apologize if this is an inconvenience, but if you have any questions regarding this then please let me know!
