Bose Soundsport Wireless Call Problem - Huawei P30

Good day,
I'm having a problem with my Bose SoundSport Wireless Headphones, when im making or recieving a call through my Huawei P30. I can clearly hear the voice of the opposite line but they can't hear what I'm saying. Also, I've observed that everything works fine when I'm using it on online mobile games when talking to other players.

I have verified whether the headphones work correctly on another phone, and indeed they work correctly. I have seen other topics about the same problem, maybe you can help me with a solution? I have already tried restoring the phone from the factory, pairing the device in different ways, either by the application or in the usual way, however I cannot get a good result. The firmware and software version is the most current, it no longer occurs to me what I should do. HELP BOSE friends!

Thank you for taking the time to post and letting me know the various troubleshooting steps you have tried so far. To confirm, the issue is that when you make/receive calls through your Huawei P30, the microphone on the earbuds does not work? However, the microphone works fine when using the headphones for online gaming?

 

I'm sure you've checked this already, but, are there any settings within your Huawei which deal with microphone settings, or maybe call settings? When you make the calls using the SoundSport Free buds on your Huawei, do you know if your actual phone microphone is active and picks up your voice? Also, what other Bluetooth headphones you tested with your Huawei phone?

Yes, I have been able to verify that when playing online games if they listen to me, when I am on a call, only the device for receiving and sending voice is active, however they do not listen to me

Thanks for confirming this @Twistedgun.

 

You mentioned you have tried pairing them in different ways, which is great. Could you please clear the pairing list by holding the Bluetooth button for 10 seconds until you hear "Bluetooth device list cleared". Then on your Huawei P30, and any other previously connected device, go to the Bluetooth list and delete the headphones.

 

Now establish a fresh Bluetooth connection and test some calls.

 

Please let us know the outcome of this.

Dear friends of Bose, I have erased the devices by pressing the 10s the start button, however, I am not successful. Try now also to pair by NFC, also without success, maybe you can suggest some other alternative = (

I am sorry to hear this. As this only occurs with the Huawei P30 I would suggest speaking with Huawei, incase there is something we are missing.

Ive talk to the huawei staff, they suggested me to check if the soudsports are compatible with the phone. I have tried pairing with the P30 lite and I keep the same problem. Is there a page or information where I can see the compatibility of the Bose Soundsport with huawei phones?

Please, I would really appreciate your help, I have looked in other posts that apparently also have problems with Huawei phones but I could not find a valid solution, apparently they could not solve it in the ways that they describe or propose in the forums
