Bose Soundsport free button broke

There is a similar thread where my Bose Soundsport Free button broke. It has only been used occasionally throughout its 2 years life.

I have dial into Singapore’s hotline and I was told there is nothing Bose can do about it. I wrote an email and received this reply:

”Bose Headphones are non-repairable / non-serviceable units so if it's verified experiencing any issues and under warranty, it will qualify for a warranty replacement.
From 31 March 2020 onwards, we will cease to be the authorized third party service provider for BOSE products.
During this transition period, we do not have replacement stock for the Bose SoundSport Free.”

I cannot believe an established company like Bose can produce such durability-lacking products and yet still not have a solution to it breaking. I have always supported Bose but its after service has continued to disappoint me.

Re: Bose Soundsport free button broke

My volume up button went missing within two years.  The way I figure, the cost is over $100 per year.  Bose should either sell the button or a single earpiece.  Kind of disappointed with Bose.

Re: Bose Soundsport free button broke

My button too failed at just 1.5 year.

Horrible durability for an unrepairable product at this price tag.

First and last bose for me.
