The Bose Community Forum was launched at a time when robust online support was not available for Bose customers. Over the past several years we have added new online service channels that provide a more interactive and complete digital experience. Additionally, we have enhanced the My Bose Account capabilities to deliver a more personalized and self-service experience. As a result, Bose has made the decision to close Community Forum for Consumer electronics products on September 30th. The Bose Pro portion of the Community will still operate as usual.

Please visit our support homepage to experience one of our many other digital service channels or simply use your Community log-in credentials to sign in to your My Bose Account to view your orders and view support options.

Thank you to all who have contributed and benefited from interacting in our Community. We look forward to continuing to serve you online.

Bose sport earbuds connectivity to smartwatches

Hello,

Are those earphones compatible with smart watches, such as suunto 7?

I had jabra earbuds and then found out they are committed to full compatibility only with smartphones.

Thanks.

Re: Bose sport earbuds connectivity to smartwatches

Hello Lironcc and welcome to the Community!

Our Sport Earbuds run on Bluetooth version 5.1 and requires one of the following compatible Bluetooth pairing profiles on the source device (phone, tablet, smart watch etc):
HSP, HFP, A2DP, BLE, PBAP, SPP.

As long as the device supports at least one of these pairing profiles, the Sport Earbuds will be able to pair to it.

I hope this helps!

Re: Bose sport earbuds connectivity to smartwatches

Hi,

Thank you for your response.

The spec says it supports Bluetooth 4.2 LE. Is that ok?

The problem that I expirienced with other earbuds brand was interruptions despite successful pairing.

Re: Bose sport earbuds connectivity to smartwatches

@Liron cc This would depend it is Bluetooth 4.2 with LE, or ONLY LE. In order to play audio or take calls, you'd need the A2DP and HSP/HFP Bluetooth profiles.

I'd recommend reaching out to the manufacturer to clarify this.
