Heart Rate does not reconnect and requires iPhone reboot every single time.

My Bose Soundsport Pulse works fine with the Bose app, but to connect the HR with any other app, I need to forget the HR connection in bluetooth, reboot my phone, and then reconnect to get the HR to work in other apps. 

I have 13.3.1 on my iphone Xr, and 3.0.3 on the headsets.  I have tried resetting the headsets multiple times, and it doesn't help. 

If I just click on HR-Bose Soundsport Pulse in blue tooth, it says "Pairing Unsuccessful".  So, I "Forget" the connection but it never shows again in "Other Devices".  It stays under "My Devices", but it doesn't say "Not Connected" or show the blue "i" in the circle.  I have to reboot my phone for it to completely leave my devices.

Have you tried clearing the pairing list on the headphones? You can do this by pressing down the button for 10 seconds until you hear 'device list cleared'. 

 

Once complete try connecting again.
