I'm afraid that all the batch shipped to Euope may have this problem. Not sure if people elsewhere are having the same issue.
@larsyaz & @Florent Could you let us know what you are plugging the USB cable into when charging the case? It is essential to use a 1amp source. If you haven't already, could you please try charging this using a wall outlet?

I was going to return them tomorrow but will try charging with a wall outlet for a couple of times now and update you. Thank you!
