Thanks for posting and welcome to the Bose Community. I am deeply sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your headphones and would love to assist further.
The headphones will only be able to play audio via one ear when on calls due to the way that they are designed. In regards to Music Audio only in one ear this is not correct. Firstly, can you please attempt to update the headphones via Btu.bose.com as well as performing a reset by:
Place your earbuds in the charging case
Connect the charging case to a wall outlet using a USB charger, then wait five seconds
Disconnect the USB cable from the charging case, then wait one minute
Remove your earbuds from the case.
