Hey everyone,

We’ve seen a lot of good threads discussing our Quiet Comfort and Sport Earbuds and wanted to thank you for your contributions! We have been reading your feedback and wanted to let you know that we are listening.

Many of you said you wanted volume control on the earbuds. We are pleased to announce that our engineering team has committed to adding on-bud volume control before the end of the year. More details are coming, and we can’t wait to share them. If you have feedback on this you’d like to provide, please do it here.

We also saw you wanted improvements in the method used to switch between multiple source devices, so we have started exploratory work to understand how we can improve this experience for you. You can find this thread here.

Lastly, we heard you when you said you wanted to connect to multiple devices simultaneously. While this isn’t possible with the current hardware architecture of the QC and Sport Earbuds, it is something we will continue to explore for future products. Please, keep it coming. We want your feedback. We want to know what you love about your product, what is not meeting your expectations, what you’d like to see, and what we can improve. We may not be able to respond to every thread, but we are reading them and making sure we understand what it is you are looking for from your earbuds. Hey everyone,

Today we released the 4.2.4 update to the Bose Music App, which introduces the ability to swipe up & down on the right earbud to change the volume! Simply turn on volume control in the Settings menu.

How to enable volume control:

To activate this new feature, open the Bose Music app and follow these instructions:

1. Tap on the product tile from your My Products page
2. Tap the Setting icon in the top right corner
3. Navigate to the Control section
4. Toggle Volume ON to enable on-product touch volume control
