SoundSport Free wireless: Bose Updater Doesn't Work Anymore

I don't know when the Bose Updater stopped working, but now I get this message.

How can I fix the issue?

What is the latest firmware version?

My system is

macOS Mojave: 10.14.6

Safari: 13.0.1

Current SoundSport Free firmware: 2.6.0

Bose Updater: 5.5.0

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Bose Community. I am sorry to hear that you are having some issues update your SoundSport Frees and would love to assist you further. 

 

As @grmedhat stated can you please let us know what happens when you relaunch the updater? The latest firmware version for the SoundSport Frees is Version 2.6.0. 

 

Can you please also attempt to update the headphones via the Bose Connect App or via a different PC? If the headphones require an update on the SoundSport you will see a update icon on the product image of the Bose Connect App when connected to your headphones. 

 

I look forward to hearing back from you regarding this and appreciate grmedhat's contribution towards this.

I didn't know I can use Bose Connect App to update firmware as well.

 

In Settings it says "Your product is up-to-date.". but there is no place to check/update firmware manually. Is that right?
