I received my new Soundport Free wireless headphone yesterday and realize the volume control buttons are very hard to operate - literally needs to be pressed down hard to increase or decrease the volume. Is this a manufacturing defect or something i need to get used to. I have been using Bose headphones for the last 15 years and have a few different wired and wireless headphones but i have never experienced this issue. Wanted to check in community before I started the return process. Thank you.

Using the SoundSport Free myself, I would not say the buttons are massively tough to use. Would you say you need to use excessive force to get the buttons to work? If so, this is not right. The best option here would be to reach out to your local customer support center and explore the service options for your headset. Did you also know you can control the volume of the headphones through the Bose Connect app? This may help in the meantime!
