the bose sound support buttons are not functional -
the mike does not work
the volume goes down to zero on its own
the shut down button does not work
kindly advice how to address the above problems

I'm sorry to hear that - what device are you connecting the speaker to when the volume automatically goes down?
I'd recommend performing a reset firstly, as shown HERE, to clear any underlying issues. Also, could you try and connect these headphones to another device to see if you encounter the same volume issue? Let me know how you get on!
