Soundsport wireless headphones not working

This is my THIRD set of Bose Soundsport wireless headphones (2 directly from Bose). The first replacement died at the end of my first run. The second replacement set made it almost through 2 runs. At the end of my second run, there was loud static in the left bud. I attempted to plug them in, even do the reset/reboot (which is often recommended). Nothing is working and they will not turn on. There is no light indicating that they are charging either. This is extremely disappointing! Two replacement sets in a month and a half and a combined 3 runs out of the sets. I have spent more time returning and waiting for replacements than it is worth. This is a faulty product and I do not recommend it to anyone, especially avid runners.

I'm having the same problem and this is 2nd time it has happened - last time I received a replacement and I'd only had the headphones for a month. I'm now on my second pair and the same issue. I expected buying a quality solution from Bose that they would last but these are clearly not for working out in?

I have Bose in-ear wireless sport headphones. I've charged them, but they will not power on once unplugged. I hold the power button and nothing happens. But when plugged in, the power light is green.

Got very disappointed with my SoundSport Free headphones. I bought it on 5/14/19 in Miami. I live in Brazil . The headphone doesnt charge anymore. I sent it to the Brazilian support and they say that I would have to buy another one, cause mine is damaged. After 1,5 year your product doesnt work anymore. I take care a lot of it . I saw on Internet that many people got the same problem. Please advice. Doesnt seem fair to me that after 1,5y I lost 200 USD !

 

Where do you run into the issue?

 

When did you start to experience the issue? Did it work correctly previously?

 

Any troubleshooting steps you took

I love Bose and this is actually my 5th product in the last 3-4 years (speakers, headsets, earphones).  But after this experience, I'll be thinking twice before buying another earphones from Bose.

 

My soundsport is not turning on after fully charging.  Mine is 18 months old and seldom used, I contacted Bose Service Center in Singapore and this is what I got 

 

"Please be advise there will not be any repair services available on headphones/Frames category (no parts replacement available).  Due to the manufacturing that involves custom machines, special robotic tools and controlled materials, Bose headsets has been classified as a unrepairable product."

 

I'm expecting more from a 230+ SGD earphones.

I have the same issue. I have only used the ear buds twice and now they don't turn on. The power led only turns green  when plugged in and I have tried charging it for 6 hours.

Soundsport wireless won't turn on or charge

I have a pair of Soundsport wireless headphones that aren't even a year old yet. They've worked perfectly fine everyday up until today, when suddenly when I took them out to walk to work, they wouldn't turn on.

 

At first I was surprised and thought it was odd as they had 90% battery yesterday and worked completely fine, but I decided to try and charge it and found that they won't charge either.

 

Since this morning I have been reading threads throughout the internet about this and have tried:

- doing a reset  ( hasn't worked)

- Updating the software (computer wont recognise a tuned off headphone + the Btu.bose site wont load, - it just pulses "Bose" in the centre of the screen)

- Calling support (waste of time as its probably cost me a fortune and i haven't gotten through yet even with 30 min of waiting)

 

They blinked red at one point and blinked amber for abit too but other than that no action. They worked perfect yesterday, and are stored in room temperature in their case.

 

I would like to know either:

A) How to fix the problem

B) How do I claim my warranty and get a replacement (don't tell me i have to o into store or call since there's a pandemic + I've wasted alt of money and time already trying to call)

 

Very sad, as up until now i tell everyone how they were my favourite purchase of 2020. Hope Bose acts appropriately an fixes/replaces this product ASAP as I use them everyday and can't run without them.

Look above. Won't turn on, wont charge. Rarely it blinks amber for like 4 times, and also once i saw a red light that disappeared after a few seconds.

Bose Soundsport won't turn on

My Bose Soundsport won't turn on ! It worked well all the time, but after charging them (when I plug them, the green light is on) , they do not respond to any pressed button. No light at all, no sound... What is happening !?!
