I love my revolve because of its low end punch.
Songs that sound great on the revolve:
I ain't mad at cha - Tupac
Get Lucky - Daft Punk
Gangsta's Paradise - Coolio
Dilemma - Nelly
All My Life - K-Ci & JoJo

What I mean by "reference track" is that specific track or tracks that you listen to as soon as you get a new system or pair of headphones. It might be your favorite song that you have heard a hundred or more times, or it could be a song that might not be your favorite but sounds incredible on a high end system like your Bose....
I have now put my new Solo 15(purchased on Black Friday) into service. This speaker is physically bigger than the Solo 10 and the sound is more spacious for sure. With the bass turned up the sound in my newly renovated den (carpet removed and vinyl planking installed) the vocals seem a little bouncy. However as the speaker is breaking in, the potential of this simple speaker is becoming apparent.
Yesterday I tried out my trusty test titles:
Baby it's Cold Outside by Holly Cole and Ed Robertson
Joy to the World for unto us Child is Born by Amy Grant
Sleigh Ride by Leroy Anderson and the Decca Orchestra
Englishman in New York by Sting.
The Solo 15 sounded very good for such a simple speaker. There are more speakers in the Solo 15 than the Solo 10, also the latter’s speakers are more forward facing whereas the Solo 15 has side facing speakers which may account for the bouncing vocals coming in through the cable box. I am still fiddding with the digital output settings of the TV and cable box, I am not to sure if that is having any effect. However, my favourite song titles being played from my computer library via Apple TV sounds great!
Before SoundTouch 30 series 3, I almost purchased a Solo 15 with the idea of attaching an Airport Express for Airplay connectivity and putting the gear in my living room. That is how confident I was feeling about the Solo products.
At any rate, getting back to the song titles, I like them and have been playing these particular titles to test my new gear for years.
