Over the past few years, we have seen many suggestions and recommendations posted by you, our community members, as to how we may be able to improve the overall experience. Over the past few months, we have worked hard on a project to redesign the Bose Community. This redesign will optimize the look and feel of the Bose forums, so that you can find the right information at the right time.
We are currently planned to release the redesign early next week. Before we do launch, there are a few improvements which I would like to highlight for you.
A follow up post will be made later this week to outline other changes.
Banner images will display, where appropriate, to let you know where you are when visiting the Bose forums. In the past, we had used some images and banners, but they were used inconsistently. We have standardized the approach with these banners to provide for a more consistent experience.
You will also notice a “New Topic” button on the right side of the image. This button will display for you across most of the community pages, which should help to streamline the posting process.
Search is also up front and centralized. Not only will you have the ability to search across the entire community, but when you are visiting a specific forum, you will also be able to easily search just that forum.
News & Announcements
Further down the home page, you will notice a “News & Announcements” area. This is where we will post information that is helpful for our customers to better understand Bose, our products and highlight relevant information which will help you.
Product Image display
From the home page, you can now easily select the individual forum that you want visit, not only based off of the description, but also visual representations.
On the bottom of the home page you can also see that we are highlighting recent activity as well as our Community members who have posted the most Accepted Solutions within the Community.
The Bose forums will still be accessible via https://community.bose.com, via any search engine, as well as any bookmarks which you may have stored away, so you do not need to worry about any of those changes.
As you can see by the above screenshots (and we hope that you agree), the site is now more visually appealing and will also provide for a consistent user experience for our customers who are visiting the Bose website.
We hope that you enjoy this new experience on the Bose Community forums. If you have any feedback, please let us know on the Forum Feedback & Requests forum.
