The sweet spot

Bass without the bulk
Unique RaceTrack woofers integrated into the L1 Pro8 and L1 Pro16 — and in the Bose Sub1 and Sub2 modular subwoofers available for the L1 Pro32 — deliver powerful bass, have an optimized center of gravity, and save a lot of space. This slim design means you get the full impact of a conventional subwoofer without the cumbersome size, freeing up room in your vehicle and on the stage, and making every carry in between — home to car, vehicle to venue — much easier.

Mixer onboard... and on your phone
Each L1 Pro system features a built-in mixer, so you can connect various instruments, microphones, and other sources easily. You get two combo XLR-1/4” phantom-powered inputs, 1/4" and 1/8" (3.5 mm) aux inputs, plusBluetooth® streaming capability. Illuminated rotary encoders give you instant access to volume, tone, and reverb settings per channel. Select between optimized system EQ presets for live music, recorded music, and more. And add in even more instruments and other audio sources via dedicated ToneMatch port — one cable provides both power and digital audio between the system and a Bose T4S or T8S mixer (optional).

And with the intuitive L1 Mix app, you get complete wireless mixer control too...

Intuitive and instant wireless control
With the L1 Mix app, you can adjust mixer settings instantly from your phone or even walk the room, hear how the mix sounds, and fine-tune as you go. Change volume and tone settings in the app and watch the LED encoder on your L1 Pro move to match — the mixer and app are always in sync, in real time. Plus, you have access to the entire ToneMatch library of custom EQ presets. With the L1 Mix app, you get the connectivity that empowers your performance, giving you greater flexibility for on-the-fly tweaks via controls that are intuitive and instant.

Can external mixers be connected to these, like they can with the other L1 systems?

I own 2 L1 Compacts, Model 1S + 2 b1’s, and 2 Model II’s + 2b2’s.  I’m curios as to where the L1Pro32 fits in the line up?

Hey Jim!

The L1 Pro32 system is most similar to the L1 Model II. Whereas the Model II's line array houses 24 x 2¼" drivers, the Pro32's array contains 32 x 2" drivers and is considerably lighter in weight.

I recommend taking a look at this video for more info on the L1 Pro32 system.

I'm very excited about the L1 Pro series, but have been vacillating between purchasing the Pro 8 or the Pro 16.  I am an acoustic guitarist/vocalist solo performer who sometimes performs in a duet setting with a female singer (acoustic guitar, two vocal mics).  For most of my indoor gigs, I believe the Pro 8 would be sufficient, however, during the warm weather months I also do a lot of outdoor gigs at parties, restaurant/bar patios, and other outdoor events.  Would the Pro 8 be enough outdoors, or would I need the extra power of the Pro 16?

QUESTIONS----How powerful are the Ll-1 Pro 16 and the L1 Pro32 systems?  How many people (up to...) can the two systems handle?  Also, are the older ToneMatch engines compatible with these NEW L-1s?  Advice would be well-appreciated.

Looking at the stats the pro 16 is more comparable to the L1 Model 2 and the pro 32 is a step above. Is that correct? Also will there be any adapters for the b1 and b2 systems to use on the PRO 32 stand?

Hi ProfHarp & Loosearrow01!

Please see my response on this thread for info on compatibility with the T1 ToneMatch Audio Engine.

The Pro32 contains more built-in drivers than the L1 Model II. For comparisons on the new L1 Pro systems, I recommend visiting the L1 Pro Family page on the Bose product page.

While the newer Sub1 and Sub2 bass modules can be used with legacy L1 systems, the B1 and B2 bass modules cannot be used with the Pro32.
