Bose Soundlink Bluetooth Speaker III - Don't Turn On or Charge

Hello Bose Support team,

 

My name is Bruno and im here to ask help about one issue i've got with my bose soundlink bluetooth speaker iii.

 

Im a big fan from Bose, and i have many things from Bose, however recently my bose speaker died without any reason, and there is only 2 years i've bought this speaker.

When i try to charge with the original bose cable, nothing happens, and if i try to turn it on, nothing happens as well, not even any light blinks or turn on. 

 

So i've decided to go to an authorized support in Brazil to check the problem. Comes out that after many analysis, they couldnt identify the problem, and informed we must contact Bose in order to figure out.

 

And also, i take care of all my stuf, the speaker never fell on the ground, never got wet, always being charged with the original cable and kept in the original box.

 

The reason why i by Bose products its because i believe on the quality, but in case of this speaker, im very confused about what happened.

 

Can you please try to help me with this problem ?

Thank you very much for your post and welcome to the Bose Community. 

 

I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems with your SoundLink Bluetooth Speaker III. 

 

I would recommend trying to perform a system reset. Press and hold the mute button for 10 seconds, the LEDs will flash briefly. Press the Power button to turn the system back on. 

 

Of course, If the system is completely dead then this will not work, but it is certainly worth trying as a reset can often correct the occasional minor processing errors. 

 

Do you have another cable and power supply that you could possibly test to see if the system powers at all?

Thanks for writing to me.

 

Yes, i already tried the reset a several times, and used another power cable.

 

As i said, when i took to the Bose authorized in Brasil, they also tried the reset and a different power cable.

 

Its very weird, it makes no sense dieying on that way

I just had literally the exact same thing happen to me. I've had the speaker for 2 years, took care of it perfectly, and now it will not turn on. Dispapointed and not sure if I should buy another Bose.

I've contacted Bose in Brazil and they said i need to fill a form from Bose Website, and ship the product to their warehouse.

 

Where can i find this form in website ?
