Bose mini 2 won’t turn on

Been having trouble with my soundlink mini 2. I plug it into power using the cable it came with and it shines a yellow light for about a second before it fades away and the speaker no longer reacts to anything I do. I’ve tried resetting it but I can’t even get it to shine the little LED indicators it has. Also I haven’t used it in a couple months because of this and I don’t have the part of the charger that plugs into the wall, just the cable. Any suggestions as to getting this thing to turn back on again?

Thanks for posting in the Community!  I'm sorry to hear about the power issues, but would be happy to help!

 

Have you been able to try a different USB cord and power supply?

If that doesn't work, I'd recommend trying this reset:

 

  • Connect the speaker to a power outlet
  • Press and hold the Multi-function button for 10 seconds
  • While continuing to hold the Multi-function button, unplug the speaker from power
  • Release the Multi-function button
  • Reconnect the power cord
