The Bose Community Forum was launched at a time when robust online support was not available for Bose customers. Over the past several years we have added new online service channels that provide a more interactive and complete digital experience. Additionally, we have enhanced the My Bose Account capabilities to deliver a more personalized and self-service experience. As a result, Bose has made the decision to close Community Forum for Consumer electronics products on September 30th. The Bose Pro portion of the Community will still operate as usual.

Please visit our support homepage to experience one of our many other digital service channels or simply use your Community log-in credentials to sign in to your My Bose Account to view your orders and view support options.

Thank you to all who have contributed and benefited from interacting in our Community. We look forward to continuing to serve you online.

Dropped Portable Home Speaker = Damaged. What are my options?

Hi guys,

This is directly for Bose, as the customer support is out-of-hours and I'm incredibly annoyed at my partner who dropped the speaker on concrete.

The bottom is scratched, dented and the plastic lip that houses the charging section is also chipped. Will Bose be able to fix this? I know its accidentally damage and I believe it's covered by my insurance so I know there will be a fee.

I just need to know whether Bose fix accidental damage. Thanks

Re: Dropped Portable Home Speaker = Damaged. What are my options?

They can, but accidental damage isn't normally covered by warranty.

Depending on your country you may be able to see the repair cost through the websites support page (https://www.bose.com/en_us/support/self_service/service_and_repair_request.html is the US page.  Enter the serial number and follow the prompts and that can give you options).

If your country doesn't have this option, you'll need to call your local support team - support button  at top of the screen.

Whether it's worth the cost or not is up to you.
