I can't connect my bose soundlink mini II to my macbook sir and ip6s suddenly

When I turn on the bose mini, it said it is connected to my macbook air.

However, the music cannot play on the bose.

Then I disconnect and re-connect again and again, still cannot play music.

I remove the bose advice from my macbook air, try to connect it to bose again, but the pairing is fail.

I also remove my macbook air from the bose, and try again and again, they just can't link together.

The same thing happened on my iphone6s too.

Just keep seeing "the pair is unsuccessful", "coundn't connect to the device".

PLEASE HELP!!!

The methods you mentioned do not help. I have reset and clear the pairing list so many times.

But my iphone6s and macbook air still can't connect to it.

And I finally found another way to solve it.

I updated the bose software, then I can connect my macbook air to bose mini again.

Re: I can't connect my bose soundlink mini II to my macbook sir and ip6s suddenly

Hey riatsang,

Thank you kindly for taking the time to reach out to the community!  So sorry to hear that your Mini II is giving you trouble, I have a couple steps we can try:

  1. Connect the speaker to power
  2. Press and hold the Multi-function button for 10 seconds
  3. While continuing to hold the Multi-function button, unplug the speaker from power
  4. Release the Multi-function button

Once you complete the reset let's clear the pairing list.

  1. Make sure the system is on
  2. Press and hold the Bluetooth button for approximately 10 seconds
  3. A voice prompt (or tone) will indicate that the stored pairing list has been cleared. The button can be released
  4. Remove the SoundLink from the source device's pairing list (refer to manufacturer for instruction)

Let me know if this helps?  I hope it does!

Thanks so much again and take care,

Shiloh_C
