Soundlink Pluas No volume

Powered up speaker, no voice prompts, no music.

1. Connected to power and fully charged turned on, no voice prompts, no music.

2. Reset by pressing function button 10 secs until lights start flashing - same as 1

3. Updated firm ware - same as 1

Using function button starts paly and pauses

 

Anything else I can do??

Thanks for posting! I am very sorry to hear that you are having this issue, however I would love to help. 

 

I have a few questions I would like to ask to get a better understanding of your issue: 

 

  • Have you attempted to connect the speaker to another device? 
  • Also which device are you using to connect to the speaker? 
  • How are you connecting to the speaker, Bluetooth or Aux?

Hi thanks for the quick reply, connecting to iPhone and s10 both via bluetooth, but voice prompts not working also. Always use with iPhone, s10 was a new device to test. Andy

Hi Bafumba, 

 

Thanks for posting and updating me on this issue. I would like to recommend performing a product reset on the device. 

 

This can be done via:

 

  • Unplug the speaker from power, then turn it on using battery power
  • Press and hold the Multi-function (•○•) button for 10 seconds until the product lights glow, then release the button.

 

I would also like to clear the pairing list on the speaker and reconnect the devices to the speaker. This can be done by: 

 

  • Turn on the product, then press and hold the Bluetooth button for about 10 seconds until a tone or voice prompt is heard, which confirms the memory is clear.

Followed your instructions, but no prompts were heard.  

 

But battery indicator went red, although was fully charged last night, plugged into power and indicates fully charged.  Paired my iPad this time no sound out of the speaker but controls of the multi function button playing and pausing.

Hi bafumba,

 

Can you please confirm for us is this red LED light flashing or a still red light?

 

If the light is flashing this would indicate a battery error.

Hi,

 

OK so press multifunction button until three lights flash

Turn on speaker

Press Blutooth button for15 seconds

Release blutooth button, bliue light flashes slowly for about 30 seconds

Red light is lit for 1 - 2 seconds

 

No voice prompts
