To confirm here, when you performed the reset, did you press and hold the power button for 10 seconds until the system turned off? Have you tried to bypass the charging cradle by plugging in a USB cable directly to the speaker? Also, have you tried multiple electrical sockets?
If you have tried all of the above, it sounds like the system would need service. I would recommend contacting your local support center.
