The Bose Community Forum was launched at a time when robust online support was not available for Bose customers. Over the past several years we have added new online service channels that provide a more interactive and complete digital experience. Additionally, we have enhanced the My Bose Account capabilities to deliver a more personalized and self-service experience. As a result, Bose has made the decision to close Community Forum for Consumer electronics products on September 30th. The Bose Pro portion of the Community will still operate as usual.

Please visit our support homepage to experience one of our many other digital service channels or simply use your Community log-in credentials to sign in to your My Bose Account to view your orders and view support options.

Thank you to all who have contributed and benefited from interacting in our Community. We look forward to continuing to serve you online.

Any comments on future enhancements to the connect app for the S1?

Having the ability to drive 2 S1s in stereo is cool, but are there plans for future features that someone can comment on? If this is all the app will be handling, it won’t be terribly useful for me.

Re: Any comments on future enhancements to the connect app for the S1?

Hi CityFolk,

The May 2018, S1 Pro System Updates came in two parts

  1. Firmware (version 7.0.10) allows the S1 Pro to work with Bose Connect version 6.1.0
  2. Bose Connect App updates support connectivity to the S1 Pro system

New features of v7.0.10 and Bose Connect App Version 6.1.0

  • Party mode TWS - true wireless stereo
  • Firmware updates wirelessly - Over the air using Bose Connect App
  • Bose Connect App
    • Battery charge level display
    • Volume Control
    • Device ID - Serial Number, date code, firmware version.

These updates affect Bluetooth streaming only, and brings the the S1 Pro System in line with other Bose Bluetooth devices.

The updates do not affect the core functionality of the S1 Pro System.

Bose doesn't comment on features that may or may not be under consideration or in development.
