I have always had the problem when turning down the knob on the S1 PRO of the sound abruptly cutting off instead of doing a normal fade. Is there an update available to fix this? This happens regardless of the phone setting volume.
Of course I am speaking only about Bluetooth channel 3.
Hi Dance Host,
If you look at the channel 3 volume control like a clock face, the volume fades down to about 9:00 o'clock. It cuts off below that. If that is what you are experiencing, that's normal.
Where on the clock face is your sound cutting off.

All of my controls begin at about 10 o'clock on the S1 Pro. So that is zero position I guess. In fading from dance volume, sound cuts out about 11 o'clock. This makes a smooth fade to no sound impossible.
Hi Dance Host,
Here's what I meant about the dial positions.
Green = 9:00 o'clock
Red, is this where the sound cuts out?

I can't get to 9. My sound doesn't start until 10.
Can you do a smooth, complete fade on yours?
Hi Dance Host,
I can turn down the volume smoothly until the sound stops, between 9:00 and 8:00.
Are you running the lastest firmware? Version 7.0.10
If you are using the Bose Connect App
If you haven't installed the Bose Connect App, on a PC or Mac go to http://btu.bose.com and follow the instructions.

If the sound stops, it is not a smooth, complete transition. I propose that some cross-fading software is needed in the unit to properly fade the Bluetooth signal. I have the latest firmware and all the firmware in the world will not fix this software limitation.
Hi Dance Host,
Looking at this picture,
At what point does the sound cut off? I'm trying to understand if what you are experiencing is an issue with your unit or with the behavior of all S1 Pro systems.
Thanks,
