My Bose F1 812 volume is not nearly what it should be. I can set at full volume with either an SM58 mic or a Takamine Guitar & it sounds OK, should be blowing me out of the room. What should I be looking at first?
Have you tried it with a mixer and the speaker set to Line Input?
i was using the tops and the bins set to 12oclock but recently left the bin at 0db and put the tops to 2oclock
Much better sound and loud as ****.
Sounds like your problem is input level.
True true.

On Input 2, you may need a preamp for the guitar. Check the battery in the guitar and turn it up full.
It sounds like you may need a mixer or preamps for the microphone and guitar.

The Guitar Battery is good. I have tried with the T1 tone match mixer. I also have an L1S system that has no such issue. Is there a Bose service center in South Florida? Thanks for the replys!
