Re: Bose S1 Pro System

Bose L1 compact has input gain up to

+40dB on the mic input
+24 dB on the jack input

Does anyone know for the Bose S1 pro?

Re: Bose S1 Pro System

That was one of the first things that popped in my mind when I first saw the S1 maybe they will make one twice the size... a beefy version.?? Much like the Panaray 320m vs 620m. By the way I do use 620m monitors with bands that don't have a lot of stage volume... otherwise I reach for my JBL SRX712m monitors...

Re: Bose S1 Pro System

& two more models for electric & bass guitars , named S1-EG. & S1-B. , with the  power amps. A1 engine  inside . Guitar speaker it's good to be stereo with M-S (one point stereo) system. It means one body speaker stereo system , when connected external stereo guitar efx., board, to have a full stereo ambient, or even when is using internal reverb. Because sometimes is strange in good engine , to have mono reverb , to immitate ambient reflections...  To make this happen faster, I can design the pre-design for this. Sorry my English ..., I think everybody will understand .

Re: Bose S1 Pro System

BTW just found out Bose will be offering an official S1 backpack that has extra space for cables and a small mixer. Not sure if it's padded though? ?

Just saw it at NAMM...  Yes it's padded and has room for cords and a small mixer (nothing wider than the S1).  Very nice looking.  The Bose rep told  me that it would be available in about a month... Sorry, forgot to snap a picture...

Re: Bose S1 Pro System

Beyond software updates and service center tech use, I'm wondering about the USB service port. Will it be possible for Bose to troubleshoot a malfunctioning unit on line?

Played a wine bistro concert for 30 people tonight where the S1 was perfectly suited.

Re: Bose S1 Pro System

I just finished a casino bar gig.   Bar is located in between two restaurants and my back is to the walkway and Casino slot machines...  yup,  loud environment...

Gotta tell you though,  the S1 worked great - loud enough to get over the slots... in fact one person came over while I was packing up and stayed help had been at the slot machine for the last couple of hours (behind me)  and thoroughly enjoyed the music...

Here are a few pics...  I'll write yoo a more comprehensive review in their next couple days...20180127_19013920180127_19014820180127_18432120180127_184313
