Can I use a MarkBass Amp to power a B1 or B2?

I had problems with the Behringer B1200D sub woofer (2 actually) with my S1s.  I was wondering whether I could take a line out of an S1 to the effects return of my MarkBass Little Mark 800 and use that with a B1, 2 B1s or a B2?  I can control the volume of the sub on the from of the bass head.

Thanks

You can, @DavidE2 , but without a crossover, you'll have a pronounced mid bass.

I understand that.  I’m going to experiment a bit to see if it can sound good.

Hi DavidE2,

You may damage the B1 or B2 if you use it with your third-party amp.

The MarkBass Little Mark 800

OUTPUT POWER: 800W RMS @ 4 ohms / 500W RMS @ 8 ohms

The B1 is rated at 125 watts @ 8 ohms

Two B1s in parallel are rated at 250 watts @ 4 ohms

The B2 is rated at 250 watts at @ 4 ohms

The B1 and B2 are part of the L1 integrated systems. They do not have protective circuitry because they are designed to work with Bose L1 systems and the Bose A1 Packlite. The protective circuitry is built into the L1 power stands.

What if I keep the volume down?

Don't try that, @DavidE2. @ST from Bose just stated it would kill your system.

You're on your own if you damage your B1s or B2.

Do you have a Markus Miller cabinet?
