Connecting L1 1S to Two powered PA Speakers
I've had my L1 1S for a few months now and I love it it. I can't get over how great everything sounds coming out of such a small system.
We're a four piece band, two guitars, bass and drums, three vocals. We typically play small bar, patio type venues. However, we have a gig coming up where we will be playing outside at a small beer festival. There will be a small stage set up in a large parking lot and I expect we'll be playing to about 100 people directly in front of the stage but we want the sound to carry as far as possible so that there is music heard "everywhere". Before I got the Bose system I used two powered 12" PA speakers running through a Behringer XR-16 digital mixer. I still use the mixer with the Bose for ease of connectivity and EQ'ing reasons. I love the fact that I don't need floor monitors when using the Bose system too. I'm thinking we will need more volume for this venue and I want to add my two powered PA speakers to the mix.
So, my question is;
What's the best way to connect two powered speakers while still utilizing the Bose L1 at the same time? Should I use the Bose just as a monitor? Should I only route vocals through the Bose? Should I connect the Bose so it is on one side of the mains and the PA speakers the other (connected in series)? These are the sorts of questions I curious about.
Thanks in advance for any help.
