Welcome to the Bose forum! I'm sorry to see you're having an issue with the S1 Pro.

Have you tried testing both inputs with different audio sources or cables (e.g. XLR, 1/4")? Is channel 1 always quieter? 

Is there any sign of damage on the input connection for channel 1 on the S1 Pro?
