How can I control two separate master outputs on the Tonematch 8?
Our four piece classic rock band is performing for a local variety show. We play a 50 min preshow set and then turn around and become the pit band to accompany the chorus and play walk offs etc. I'm using my TM8 for 3 vocals, guitar, bass, keys, and Roland E-drums (7 inputs). For the preshow we need to hear our vocals without any latency/delay that we get through the auditorium mains. So I ran the left main XLR out to two wedges hooked up in series. By doing that, we were able to produce the mix we like without depending on an unknown sound engineer. I then sent the same mix to the house mains by using the right main XLR out. The problem is that the signal the house received was so hot that we had to back off the main output so much that we lost almost all head room for the output to out wedges. Is there a way we can separate and create two "master outputs" without creating another auxiliary mix that may or may not match what we send to the house? Thanks for your help.
btw, yes I have two L1 M 2 which we typically use instead of wedges but the towers preclude use for a Pit band set up in front of a stage. Hence, the wedges.
