Re: Jazz Duo Help with setup, please.

You were right about the guitar preset ST, he did find it too bright. We settled on general direct which sounded quite nice.

Thanks for all your help, and for putting up with a newbie!

Re: Jazz Duo Help with setup, please.

Hi Thundercranium,

Thanks for telling us how things worked out.
Also - the reason I thought the Guitarist my find the ES-335/ES-445 preset too bright - it's great in a band mix, but for a jazz gig, I find it too punchy. The General Direct gives you a sound that feels like you are running clean through a guitar amp with a 12" loudspeaker.

I'm curious - how did you end up connecting everything?

Re: Jazz Duo Help with setup, please.

I used the Sennheiser 855 preset for the mic on ch1, the general direct preset for the guitar on ch2, half the keyboard on general keys on ch3 and the other half set to stand up w/Fishman on ch4

Re: Jazz Duo Help with setup, please.

Thanks Thundercranium.

Did the keyboardist use his/her monitors?

Did the Guitarist use the guitar amp as a moniter?

Did you get any pictures?

Re: Jazz Duo Help with setup, please.

All ran direct to the T1, no monitors or amps. Sadly, no pics either!
