L1 Model 2 1B1 = nice, 2B1s= no bass????

Got a question regarding a show we did last night. We used an L1 Model 2 to round out the sound in a great venue. When there were two B1s plugged into the system, there was no bass at all. When we unplugged one of the B1s, the bass appeared and no issues. I don't assume this is typical, but can't figure out the issue. Maybe bad box or bad cable? The venue is a chapel with very outdated wiring, so could that be part of the issue? Any suggestions on what to look at would be appreciated.

Sorry to hear about this problem with adding the second B1.

This sounds like a bad cable or possibly (but less likely) a bad B1, or maybe the connections were seated correctly. If they click when you insert and turn them then you are okay. I doubt that it has anything to do with the wiring in the chapel.

It's pretty easy to diagnose though.

If it works okay with one B1, swap the B1s and see if it still works.

If that works, swap B1 cables.

If that works then try running with both B1s.

If that works then it was probably just that you didn't have the connection to the second B1 fully connected. (turn and click)

If anything in the steps above does not work, call the folks at L1® Support.
