Mounting the speakers

We have the L1 Model II Cylindrical Radiator Loudspeaker system. Is there a way to mount the speakers to the wall and connect them to the base via cables. The unit is not practical where it is standing and there is not really a good location to set them in the floor that would not be in the way. It's a great system, unfortunately, whoever sold/installed it to the former management, didn't take into consideration the layout of our chapel.

Re: Mounting the speakers

Hi Steve,

Thank you for joining the Bose Portable PA Community. Welcome.

The L1 Model II Cylindrical Radiator® is engineered to work with the L1 Model II Power Stand for portable applications. I'm sorry, there are no mounting brackets or extension cables available.

The L1 Model II has extremely wide horizontal dispersion. You don't have to place it at or near the center of the stage. Try different positions in the room. You may find a place in your chapel where it can be heard without it being in the way.

Re: Mounting the speakers

As ST remarked.

At one of our outdoor gigs, our band places the L1 with a B2 to the right and slightly ahead (toward the audience) of the group.  There is enough side wash for complete monitoring of our performance, including by me in the furthest position away from the speakers and our conga player who sets up behind the system.

Another piece of gear that may help would be a system like this one:

Alto Professional - Stealth Wireless System.  You can place the base and speakers anywhere in the room where there's electricity available and keep the mixing board near the action.

Good luck.
