NS NXT4a Electric Upright Bass and S1

Getting an NS NXT4a Electric Upright Bass (handicapped & tired of lugging around double bass) and was thinking of getting the Bose S1. I'm in a bluegrass band. Anyone play an Electric Upright Bass through an S1? Will it damage the S1? Thanks in advance.

Hey Larry and welcome to the Bose Pro-Portable Community!

I would say it is perfectly fine to play your Bass Guitar through the S1 Pro at moderate volume. If you push the volume it may result in some breaks in the low end. The S1 System will deliver a lot more of the Low-Mids so you may want to play around with some EQ to find the tone you are happy with.

Hope this helps!
