Power supply

I just had to go buy a power supply for my new T4s for when I use it with the S1. I think it is a shame it can't be powered from the USB input, as I always have my laptop connected for my backing tracks. Would be a lot neater and more convenient.

Re: Power supply

Hi Speedy,

That's a great thought. Unfortunately, the T4S draws more power than is feasible to supply over USB from the S1 Pro system utility port or the USB port on a laptop.

Re: Power supply

That's why I use a Behringer Xenix 1002B battery powered mixer, @Speedy. Photo's of a typical setup are included below. 3 microphones, a U-Bass, 3 more acoustic / electric instruments with their own tonal and volume control, using active DI boxes with built in preamps and controls. @ST, Many of us use large USB power Banks, like my 10AH Naztech shown in 2 of the following photos. I own many of these USB power banks from 2AH all the way up to 30AH. I hope Bose is looking into a USB powered option for their ToneMatch mixers. Many of these forum threads prove the market for them.
