RCA on back of mixer

I can only use the RCA outputs on the back of my mixer I am using right now. Can I go from RCA to the power stand? If I need a new mixer, I guess I will have to get one but I would rather use the RCA if I can.

My XLR output on the mixer went out and I have been using the RCA output since and it has worked fine.

Thank you so much for the help.

Re: RCA on back of mixer

Hi Karl,

You can use adapters like this with an ordinary RCA-RCA cable.

Re: RCA on back of mixer

That is exactly what I was asking. Thank you so much. I would hate to have to go buy a new mixer if I didn't have to. I will soon enough but there is only so much cash to go around.

Thanks again.

Re: RCA on back of mixer

I have some 1/4 inch to banana plugs I was going to try to change over to the RCA but I am terrible at soldering. I am going to see if Radio shack or another electronic store can do it for me or just order new ones.

Re: RCA on back of mixer

Karl, I have a set of cables like ST posted above with RCA - 1/4" and they work fine. I also now use a set of XML - 1/4" cables and either one works well.
It's not worth messing with soldering when you cn get the cables pretty cheap.

Re: RCA on back of mixer

I posted this in the wrong thread yesterday. Ooops.

Took my 1/4 inch to banana plug cord to Radio shack. They put RCA on it for me for cost of piece. $3.20. Hooked them up and they work.
