Since the introduction of the S1 Pro multi-position PA system four months ago we heard from you, our customers, on how the S1 Pro was meant to be portable, and truly portable by today's standards is equivalent to "without AC power".  For this reason we made a change to the S1 Pro product.  Starting today (May 10, 2018), the S1 Pro now ships standard with the S1 Battery Pack included and pre-installed.  We heard your feedback and are thrilled to make this change.

Now, we appreciate our early adopters and understand that you are probably wondering, "what about my earlier purchase?".  We are pleased to offer owners of S1 Pro systems purchased May 9, 2018 and earlier, a complimentary S1 Pro Backpack ($149 US value).  We engineered this durable bag so you can carry your Bose S1 Pro System hands-free. Three zippered compartments allow you to store cables and other items safely, while the adjustable shoulder straps, molded foam back panel and convenient handles allow you to carry your S1 Pro System comfortably anywhere you travel.

To redeem your offer, visit https://bosebackpack.com/ and complete the form. You’ll need the serial number from the bottom of your S1 Pro System.

Serial numbers are 17-characters (numbers and letters). Here is a picture of the label on the bottom of an S1 Pro where you will find your serial number.

The serial number found in the Bose Connect App or through the Bose Updater site (http://btu.bose.com) are not valid for this offer.

If you encounter any issues when entering your serial number, please double check the number, and ensure you are entering the number from the bottom of the product. If you still continue to experience issues, please give a call to your regional support group so they can assist. If you are in North America, the number is 877-335-2673.

I can’t express how happy this makes me! I’ve been wanting the backpacks since day 1 and dreaded what the cost would be. My prediction was right at $150. I haven’t been able to have 100% of my system during my sessions due to too many trips back and forth but that will be solved soon!

Hi ,I wonder Bose offer a choice of free battery pack or backpack,because bose itself come with a sleeve covered already,thats would be nice. Just a thought tho ??

If you buy a S1 Pro as of now the battery is shipped “free”. If you have the opportunity to get the backpack free, please do so, the sleeve only protects against dust really

Thanks, that's great. Not sure how much I will use it. I still have to buy the battery which I plan on doing so soon. Mostly I transport the S1 Pro between our main home and our 400sqft country Tiny Home.

Does it apply to European customers?

All big shops in Europe still sell the Bose S1 pro separated from the battery as opposed to shops in the USA.

This is a bit confusing.  There are no purchase date limits on the bose backpack.com page for purchasing the S1.  So, if I purchase an S1 today and get the free battery (which is not something I necessarily need), do I also get the free backpack?  Because that's what it looks like.  I was able to complete the form with today's date but obviously wouldn't be able to enter a serial number until the S1 arrives.

Please clarify.
