I would love to see some sort of Digital Signal Processing added to at least Channel 3 with the Aux and Bluetooth. If the S1 cannot handle low-frequency content at higher volumes, I have absolutely no problem with my music being processed to avoid the port noise and aim towards pure loudness. As a bass lover, I even think the S1 can be too bassy even when I use channels 1 or 2 to turn the bass down! It's annoying when I'm teaching my fitness classes and I have to worry whether or not the next song is going to distort.

I know I mentioned RCA record outs, but now that I think about it, the USB service port might be designed to accept flash drive for record and playback.
I know they tried to keep it simple for ease of use and price point, but; I'll second the phantom power.
I'd like to see both the Compact and the S1 Pro with three full channels and the Bluetooth / 1/8 inch. I also like the RCA record outputs on the Compact, that would be nice to see on the S1 Pro.
Even as a solo act, I almost always use at least three channels when using the Model II / T1. It would be nice to have that capacity on all the systems.
I definitely agree with you on having the 3rd input the same as the the first 2 channels. I like the blue tooth capability and the 1/8 inch input, but it sounds too bassy and a bit fake when using the 3rd channel (with my galaxy 6 phone). I would rather use the 3rd input for another instrument or vocal.
I personally' love the way an SM58 sounds through these S1 speakers, but that is a matter of taste. I wouldn't want to pay extra for phantom power unless it barely changed the price of the unit. I am glad that there is a reverb setting!

I think the S1 is an excellent idea...but I'd say that Bose would sell DOUBLE the amount if it sold for 470 bucks instead of 600... I personally...if it were my company, would have added a battery option to the L1 compact, and sold a system with 4 drivers or 8 drivers, allowing a lower price point for less coverage... 650 dollars for the 4 driver version, 1000 for the 8 driver version....battery optional...120 bucks... Ok..there ya go Bose.... Please don't let me down... Help me finally use that Marketing degree I received....but...never used.... because ...I fell in love with audio.... :-)... P.s....duh...yes add phantom power... 🙂
I'd like to see a master volume control so you can lower or raise the sound of the entire system with one control rather than having to adjust each channel individually and then have to re-balance the sound each time you adjust the volume. I'd also like to see the pilot light on the top center of the main front panel rather than at the bottom of one of the lower panels. It would allow you to see the status of the amp with one quick look, regardless of what angle you have the speaker set at.

I would like to see a S2 Pro geared to Duos. 4 channels plus aux/Bluetooth and with master volume.
Two channels for vocals and two for guitars/keyboard. May a little bigger for larger venues but not more than 20lbs. I don't think it would need to have battery option.
This is more of a suggestion than a feature request. Maybe even an observation or opinion... Anyway, here goes: I think Bose should use a stiffer three-way switch for flash/off/on. The reason? I took a fully-charged battery-powered S1 to a gig. Turned out, I didn't use it so it still had a full charge when I went home. The next day when I checked on it, the charge was in the red and the switch was in the "on" position. Apparently, while I was driving back from the gig, the unit was jostled a bit so the switch moved from the off to on position. I didn't realize this because the cover was on the amp. This time, it wasn't a problem since I was going home. But something like happening on the way to a busking gig (where you can't use the charging chord), would be a real drag when arriving with a dead battery. I think the thicker backpack type cover might help prevent the switch from moving, so I'l be getting one of those when they become available.
