Re: S1 slip cover

Morning all. A bit off topic but does anyone know if there is anything one has to do to start the warranty on the S1 Pro? I have registered mine on the Bose UK site but don't see anywhere to register it for the warranty. Have I done enough?

Re: S1 slip cover

I think so Chris M. It’s been a while, but I think that’s all I did.

Re: S1 slip cover

Morning all.

Update to the bag/case I mentioned last week with a link to Amazin UK above.

Just received the bag and can confirm that the S1 Pro fits very nicely and the velcro divider wraps around it and keeps in snug leaving plenty of room for my big padded envelope containing mic, XLR lead, guitar pick up and lead as well as a notebook and pen. Very pleased and highly recommemd this bag. Ok, it isn't a backpack but in a pinch I could probably put the 2 straps around my shoulders and carry it as such. Looks like a great solution. Unfortunately Chris, I can't find it on Amazon here in the US. Can you give us more info on the company and how to track them down?

Re: S1 slip cover

@LarryM2 While you might be able to find a case like this in the US under a different brand name like Gator, I found this UK website that ships abroad.

By my rough estimate, you’re looking at around $15 for the bag and $12 with shipping (I’m in the US in NC so your shipping may vary). Starts to get to the same price point as the Bose slip cover, but it looks like you’re getting at lot more bag for the buck.

Re: S1 slip cover

Hi LarryM2,

Of course, the company is called Cobra and their website is cobracase.com

Not sure where they're based but probably UK.

It seems that primarily tje bag is designed for big stage type lights, hence the shape/volume of the bags. If getting one shipped to the States isnt feasible you could try a local search for companies that make or supply light cases for lighting rigs.

Good luck with the search!

Re: S1 slip cover

CityFolk, you found the exact same bag I bought for around £5 less!! - I paid £16 + shipping so it cost a total of £19.60! Wish you'd found it sooner as I could have saved a few quid!??
