I wanted to check in on what you are using for technology on stage.

I'm still using my Surface Tablets as I described in a previous discussion

Microsoft Surface 2 Pro and original Surface RT.

Gear
I got the Surface 2 Pro and use it when I'm creating content, writing, drawing, making annotations. I still have the original Surface RT too. It is lighter, gets great battery life and is another great choice when I want a computer on stage. I usually use the Surface 2 Pro and share the other Surface with a partners on stage when appropriate.

Connecting to the T1®
All of the Surface machines have a full sized USB port (for connecting to a T1®), and if you need it, they have bluetooth.

Software
I keep my music notes in Microsoft OneNote and have been doing that for years. This automatically synchronizes my notes on my phone, desktop, and Surface machines (both of them). Also available for iPhone, iPad, and Android phone .

Screen Sharing
I've also found that I can share screens from the Surface 2 Pro and my other Tablets using Skype. That means that two or more of us can be on stage seeing the same thing on our screens. It just requires that the host machine is running the desktop version of Skype.

Hi Tony, I use a Nexus 7" tablet with a Lyric Pad app. I have a mic stand mount for it. The cool thing is I have the tablet in Large Print mode so the lyrics are displayed well. I also use the app to play mp3 backing tracks. It is quite a handy tool. I replaced 3 big binders full of music and lyrics. I can setup set lists also so my songs are in order and easily accessible.

just an afterthought.

To keep the help as unobtrusive as possible, I'm thinking of going from paper to iPad. I'll have to try one out to see if I can live with it as a reading glasses person. The paper would be a backup should anything fail. I could put it on my mike stand like the T1. I would also have all the help I need in one very small package.

Have you had any experience with the new iPads with the Lightning connection. Is there any easy way of connecting one to the T1?
The fact that the iPad has no USB is a disadvantage, but as I've just risked the change from Windows XP to Mac OS, I'd like to keep with one system. Everything would be synchronized if I stay with Apple, which would be a big advantage to me.

I assume that you're playing somewhere tonight (New Years Eve)?

Lightning connection — haven't found anything encouraging
I don't have any personal experience with i-anything.

I'd like to keep with one system. — me too
As for having everything synchonized, I'm doing that on the Windows platform (tablets, desktops, phone, cloud storage, web apps). I don't have experience with the other platforms so I can't get into that discussion.

I just spent the first day with our new compact. Wow, nice and working with the Tone Match is easy. I have my iPad on my mic stand along with the Tone Match...i use onsong an AP for the iPad..I have a camera kit coming and will let you know how that works out for me.

Lots of Ap's available on Apple or recording and so on...

We are starting to work with Songbook for a couple of the players in the band. One of the main draws is the MIDI capability to set voice settings. Would appreciate any advice on using Songbook. Are there any solutions out there for glare reduction on the ipad?
