Wireless mics

Wanting to use wireless mics that don't require plug in power with my s1. Any ideas?

It's cheap, but it works. Don't know about longevity. Buy two.

There is at least one member here using the Shure FP series, which has a wireless receiver that runs 12 hours on two AA batteries in the receiver, and two AA in the mic. They make both lavalier style (linked) and handheld style FP series wireless setups that require no AC. I ended up buying a transmitter module that goes on the bottom of any wired mic and converts it to wireless, along with the wireless receiver.

Re: Wireless mics

E872ACC8-4332-4697-984F-0922BBA2905DI’ve been using a Shure FP wireless setup for over two months, and it works/sounds great with the S1Pro. The receiver is small and battery powered and has performed flawlessly. I posted about it here:

I mainly use a headset, but I also use a wireless SM58 with it. Good luck!

Here’s the link to my post about this very topic. I’ve used it for almost 3 months, and I love it.

Re: Wireless mics

Can you tell me about the transmitter module. Where do I get it and what is it called? How much? Thanks

Here’s the link on the Shure website. It can be purchased from different retailers as well.

Happy hunting.

Re: Wireless mics

This is a dumb question. How do I get the sound to the S1 pro.

Re: Wireless mics

You would also need the FP receiver module, which runs on two AA batteries, and connects to the S1 Pro via a short wire. You need to ensure that you buy a transmitter and receiver that are on the same frequency, or else purchase them together, as a set.
