XLR Line Out to Powered Speakers

So, can I use the XLR Line Out(s) on my L1 Model 1 system to add a couple powered speakers for larger venues?

Thanks for any help!

Hi Bill K,

Welcome to the Bose Portable PA Community.

Thanks for the interesting question.

Yes!

Note: The XLR line outs are post-trim. Those outputs are not affected by the ToneMatch Presets or R1 Remote.

If you want a post-processing output you can pick that up at the Insert point.

We have an article with lots of detail.

Does that help?

Thanks for the speedy reply. I will give it a try although I don't know what "post trim" means... Best, Bill

Re: XLR Line Out to Powered Speakers

Hi Bill,

Sorry about the jargon. Post trim means:

The signal is picked up immediately after the trim control, before any other processing happens.  The line out signal is affected only by the setting of the trim control.

The XLR Line outputs are not affected by the ToneMatch Presets or R1 Remote.
